The Demantoid Garnet gemstone is a beautiful gemstone.  Brilliant green in color, the Demantoid is the "gem" of the garnet gemstone family.  The name Demantoid means "diamond like".  It is not without merit or reason that this fine gemstone bears such a name.  The name is a reference to its brilliant qualities, like that of a fine diamond.

The Demantoid belongs to the garnet gemstone family, and is one of the most precious gemstones in existence.  Its color qualities range from light "yellow-ish" greens, to deep emerald green; the most precious color of the Demantoid gemstones.
